Antônio Amaral is the driving force behind the Grateful Life Project. As the project’s creator and idealizer, he personally handpicks the musicians who bring his visions to life.

ANTÔNIO AMARAL - The Creator of the Grateful Life Project

Antônio Amaral is the founder, main composer, and creative force behind the Grateful Life Project, a collaborative hard rock/melodic metal collective that has been gaining international recognition. A dedicated Brazilian guitarist, Antônio is responsible for composing most of the project’s songs and lyrics. His artistic vision defines the identity of the Grateful Life Project: an open space with no fixed band lineup, where each track represents a different emotional state of life and features special guest appearances by renowned musicians from the global rock scene.

LOREN Z - Vocals

Brazilian singer Loren spreads her passion for music across the world, crafting a sound that blends pop and rock influences. While her voice stands at the center of her artistry, her skills on instruments such as piano, acoustic guitar, and ukulele add depth and richness to her sound, complementing her vocal expression. In 2022, she made a significant career move by traveling to Nashville — a global hub for music creation — to record her debut EP, produced under the direction of Dean Dichoso. With the Grateful Life Project, she contributed to the single “Sweet Carol,” performing vocals.

DANIEL MARX - Vocals

Singer Daniel Marx develops his work through a strong connection with the great voices of music, exploring singing as his primary form of artistic expression. With roots in rock and an openness to contemporary pop, he moves across different influences, incorporating elements of styles such as jazz and R&B into his vocal approach. With the Grateful Life Project, he brings his vocal identity and versatility, integrating seamlessly into the project’s musical vision.He contributed to the single “Sweet Carol,” performing vocals.

BELAU JONES - Bass

AFFONSO JR - Guitars

Guitarist Affonso Jr is active in the rock and metal scene as a musician, educator, and collaborator across various projects. He is a member of the bands Revenge, Confessori, and Hard&Wood, and also leads the Affonso Jr Trio, focused on instrumental rock fusion. He began his studies at the age of 12, having guitarist Mozart Mello as his main reference, with whom he studied for a decade. In 1993, he founded the Guitar Point Institute, where he works as an instructor. He has also contributed as a columnist for Guitar Class and Guitar Player magazines, and is the author of the instructional method Hard and Heavy, released by HMP Publishing.With the Grateful Life Project, he contributed to the single “Sweet Carol,” providing guitars, composition, and arrangements.

He was a member of the band Revenge, with whom he recorded the album Between Sky and Fire, among other releases. He currently performs as a side musician in both studio recordings and live shows. With the Grateful Life Project, he contributed to the single “Sweet Carol,” performing bass.

RENATO GLAUCO - Drums

Drummer Renato Glauco works as a studio and session musician, taking part in various projects within the rock scene. He was a member of the band Revenge, contributing his experience during the band’s later years.He took part in the single “Sweet Carol,” contributing drums.

RENATO ZANUTO - Keyboards

Conductor, composer, and arranger Renato Zanuto holds a degree in Composition and Conducting from FAAM – Faculdade de Artes Alcântara Machado, as well as a specialization in popular music in Cuba and a Master’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Strategy from Universidade Paulista. He serves as Musical Director of the Dynamic Choir and Orchestra, performing throughout Brazil, and has developed work as a conductor and composer for broadcasters such as Rede Globo, SBT, TV Brasil, Multishow, and Discovery Channel. He is also the creator of the “Concert Lecture,” a project that integrates concepts of management, strategy, and motivation with orchestral performance, having worked with companies such as Abbott Brasil and McDonald's.He contributed to the single “Sweet Carol,” providing keyboards and orchestration.

KINNY LANDRUM - Keyboards

American composer, arranger, and keyboardist Kinny Landrum is an established professional working across film, television, and music, with a solid career in music production and film scoring. An Emmy nominee, his work has been featured in dozens of films and television productions, and he also performed as a synthesist on landmark works such as Twin Peaks, whose soundtrack received a Grammy Award. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with artists such as Leonard Bernstein, Carly Simon, Jimmy Cliff, and David Lynch. He has also developed award-winning film scores featured at international film festivals, as well as music for advertising, establishing a versatile presence across both artistic and commercial music. With the Grateful Life Project, he took part in the single “Say It To Their Graves,” contributing keyboards and arrangements.

BOBBY MESSANO - Vocals, Bass & Guitar

American musician, guitarist, and producer Bobby Messano has built a solid career in the rock and blues scene as both a solo artist and a studio musician. Throughout his career, he has worked with names such as Steve Winwood, Lou Gramm, and Clarence Clemons, in addition to being part of projects and bands like Starz and collaborating with various international artists. With more than four decades of experience, he has also developed a consistent body of work as a solo artist, with multiple album releases and a strong presence on blues rock radio and live circuits. With the Grateful Life Project, he took part in the single “Say It To Their Graves,” contributing vocals, guitars, and bass.

FRANCESCO MARRAS - Guitars

Italian guitarist Francesco Marras is an active figure in the European hard rock and heavy metal scene, working as a studio musician, solo artist, and collaborator on international projects. Between 2020 and 2025, he was a member of the British band Tygers of Pan Tang — a classic name from the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM) — taking part in recordings and live activities. In parallel, he develops his solo career, highlighted by the album Out of Fire, released in 2025, along with numerous collaborations with rock and metal artists in studio productions. In the Grateful Life Project, he contributed guitars on the singles “Cochise” and “Sheriffs from Hell.”

DAVID READMAN - Vocals

British singer David Readman is an active figure in the hard rock and heavy metal scene as a vocalist and collaborator on various international projects. He is best known for his work fronting the German band Pink Cream 69, which he joined in 1994, as well as for his contributions to groups such as Adagio, Voodoo Circle, and Tank. Throughout his career, he has also developed several side projects and solo work, establishing himself as a recurring and respected voice in European melodic metal. In the Grateful Life Project, he contributes vocals on the single “Cochise.”

HENNING BASSE - Vocals

German singer Henning Basse is an active figure in the heavy metal scene as a vocalist and collaborator on international projects. Throughout his career, he has been a member of bands such as Metalium and Firewind, and has worked with various European metal artists, establishing himself as a recurring voice in the genre. He has also participated in projects like Sons of Seasons and numerous collaborations, maintaining a constant presence in the international circuit. In the Grateful Life Project, he contributes vocals on the single “Sheriffs from Hell.”

ANDERSON MATTIELLO - Bass and Producer

Music producer, mixing engineer, and multi-instrumentalist Anderson Mattiello specializes in the production and finalization of rock and contemporary music projects, combining artistic vision with technical precision in the studio. As the head of Mattiello Music Production, he handles recording, editing, mixing, and mastering, while also collaborating as a musician on various productions. In the Grateful Life Project, he was responsible for the mixing and mastering of the single “Cochise,” and also contributed bass and produced the lyric video.

GED RYLANDS - Keyboards

British guitarist and keyboardist Ged Rylands is an active figure in the melodic rock and hard rock scene, working as a studio musician and collaborator on international projects. Throughout his career, he was part of the original lineup of the band Ten, participating in their early albums and tours, and has also collaborated with groups such as Tyketto and projects like Rage of Angels. As a composer and multi-instrumentalist, he has built a solid trajectory in the international rock scene. In the Grateful Life Project, he contributes keyboards on the single “Sheriffs from Hell.”

GAVIN GRAY - Bass

British bassist Gavin Gray is an active figure in the heavy metal scene, working as a studio musician and collaborator on international projects. Throughout his career, he has been a member of bands such as Tygers of Pan Tang — where he played during different periods and appeared on the albums Ambush (2012) and Ritual (2019) — as well as Tank, Blitzkrieg, and The Almighty. He has also contributed as a songwriter and backing vocalist in several projects, establishing himself as a recurring and respected musician in the British metal scene. In the Grateful Life Project, he performs bass on the single “Sheriffs from Hell.”

MICHAEL EHRÉ - Drums

German drummer Michael Ehré is a prominent figure in the hard rock and heavy metal scene, working both as a studio musician and as a member of international bands. He currently plays with Gamma Ray and Primal Fear, and has also performed with acts such as The Unity, solidifying his presence in the European metal scene. Renowned for his precision and versatility, he maintains an active schedule in recordings and tours. In the Grateful Life Project, he contributes drums on the single “Sheriffs from Hell.”
